Goa UK Relations, Cultural Diplomacy and the Role of Technology
Kilowott was honoured to receive an invitation from Ravi Vaz, President of the Goan Association UK, to attend the Goa Statehood Day celebration at India House, the High Commission of India in London. The invitation reflected Kilowott’s growing international presence and commitment to representing Goa on the global stage. Led by the Goan Association UK, the state’s representation celebrated Goa’s rich heritage and the strength of its global community.
The evening featured addresses by Mr. P. Kumaran, High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom, and Lord Uday Nagaraju, Member of the UK House of Lords. Both highlighted the importance of stronger India-UK ties, community leadership and the role of cultural connections in strengthening long-term bilateral relationships.
Beyond the formal programme, the event created opportunities to connect with leaders from diverse communities, reinforcing how trust, shared identity and meaningful relationships continue to drive international collaboration. These conversations reflected the growing role of AI, digital innovation and technology in shaping the next chapter of cross-border partnerships.
With its expanding technology ecosystem, skilled talent and globally connected diaspora, Goa is increasingly emerging as a hub for digital innovation. For Kilowott, this aligns with an ongoing mission to build intelligent, scalable digital solutions while strengthening Goa’s global presence through technology.
The Goan community in the UK is well-established, commercially active and increasingly engaged in shaping the bilateral agenda, both culturally and economically. Kilowott looks forward to building on the connections made at India House, contributing meaningfully to the Goa-UK story and helping create a future where Goa’s global footprint, powered by technology and innovation, continues to grow.
