Putzmeister, a German manufacturer of concrete pumps and related equipment, had relied on an Excel-based TCO tool that lacked data validation, user guidance, customization options, and version control, making it less user-friendly. To resolve these issues, the plan had been to convert the tool into a web application. This transition aimed to improve the user experience, enable better validations and guidance, offer enhanced customization, prevent data manipulation, and ensure proper version control. The goal had been to develop an MVP that seamlessly integrated into the product development roadmap, broadening the tool’s accessibility.
