In November 2024, NICCI’s business delegation to India brought together 34 delegates from various sectors in Norway for an intensive four-day program across Mumbai and Pune, aimed at providing valuable insights and fostering connections within the Indian market.
The program kicked off with a memorable networking dinner at the historic Royal Bombay Yacht Club, with an insightful “Norway-India business history lesson” by Mr. George Mathew, former Honorary Consul General of Norway, followed by a session from NICCI board member Vineet Jain on navigating cultural business differences.
The highlight of the delegation was the Norway-India Business Seminar, focusing on the theme “THINK BIG!” and featuring industry leaders from companies like Trilegal, Aavishkaar Group, Jio GenNext, and TATA. Norwegian companies, including Kongsberg, Orkla, DNV, and NORWEP, shared their experiences in India.
The event marked a significant step in expanding global partnerships and exploring new growth opportunities between Norway and India.
