What began over a decade ago as a vision to deliver meaningful digital solutions from Goa has grown into a global technology journey and that journey was formally acknowledged at the Goa Technology Association (GTA) AGM & Awards Nite 2025. Kilowott was honoured for its consistent contribution to the region’s tech evolution and for playing an active role in shaping Goa’s digital ecosystem.
At the GTA Awards Night & Technology Summit, held in association with the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, the Goa Technology Association (GTA) celebrated Goan tech professionals who have been instrumental in shaping the state’s digital journey over the years. These trailblazers have driven sustained growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship, laying the foundation for a thriving tech ecosystem in Goa.
The award recognized Kilowott’s ongoing commitment to innovation, strategic growth, and the development of local talent. Presented to Co-founder Caleb Fernandez by Rajesh Revankar, Vice Chairman of the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), the honour reaffirmed Kilowott’s leadership in building a digitally empowered Goa.
The evening was attended by several dignitaries including Goa’s Hon’ble IT Minister Shri Rohan Khaunte, STPI Director Shri Ajay P. Shrivastava, MAIT Advisory Council Chairman Shri Nitin Kunkolienker, and Director of IT, Government of Goa, Shri Kabir Shirgaonkar. The event served as a platform not only to celebrate achievement but to reflect on the collaborative effort driving Goa’s technology sector forward.
The award marked a significant milestone in Kilowott’s journey, not only as a global technology firm but as a company deeply rooted in Goa’s growth story, serving as a quiet reaffirmation of its vision to build from Goa with a global perspective and to continue contributing thoughtfully to the region’s digital journey.
